My box of happy came in the mail a few weeks ago, with my NEW 2020 Powersheets and a few other goodies. It’s taken a lot for me not to crack them open and start planning for the new year, but I know I still have work to be done here in 2019. Truly, I’m starting this blog post series to hold myself more accountable. I don’t think I have used the Powersheets quite as effectively in 2019 as I would have liked. I’m hoping putting them here motivates me to get more done, to be more honest and to encourage you to set goals as well. Now, let’s get to it!

The nights are coming faster as the sun dips down behind the treeline. The air is becoming colder, wind blowing fallen leaves on the ground. You can smell the fall, perhaps it smells like pumpkin spice lattes to you. To me, it smells like hot chocolate and cinnamon.
After a long week working, you get home (or shut down your laptop) on Friday and want to crash. Whether you plan on working more on the weekend (hello everyone that works in the wedding industry) or you have two days of peace ahead of you, taking a moment for yourself is important.

There is a great debate on if you should write with music or not. Some say it helps, some say it distracts. Well, I’m not here to debate, but celebrate the three different types of writes. Personally, I enjoy writing with music, but I don’t use it as a tool like some writers. It’s more of a background noise for me, but some people can’t have that. They might work better with white noise, they don’t want silence, but perhaps working in a coffee house would give them enough noise not to go crazy. Then there are people who need no distractions, complete silence and noise canceling headphones.
